Hi there. I want to be the very first to welcome you to Equestria Homes. If you have clicked this link you are either new to our lovely dream or you have been here and need a bit of help with something. Whatever the case, I hope this post helps you with your questions. So, let's get down to the reason for this post...
When you first arrive in Equestria Homes, you show up here:
From here you can go north-west to the desk, north-east to the houses, south-east to the apartments, or south-west to the gardens.
If you go north-west you will find a building that looks like this:
This is the Main Building of the dream when you first enter the building you will see this:
On the bottom there you see two doors. The one to the left is the Event Room it is locked unless the staff are having an event of some sort. Events will be announced in dream emits. The door on the left leads the the Adoption Center:
Here you can find foals and pets to adopt. If you go go up the steps on either side of the bottom room, you will be at the staff desk. Don't worry if it does not look like the picture; the staff redecorate it frequently. Here you can ask to buy a house, apartment, or garden of your own. You can also request emits from a active staff member.
If you go north-east you will find the houses. There are 15 of them. Each one is two stories with a roof.
Permanent houses can be bought for 3 GDs or $3 US a month.
Going south-east will take you to the apartments. There are 10 of them. They are all one story without a yard. You cannot change the walls in apartments.
Permanent apartments can be bought for 2 GDs or $2 US a month
Going south-west takes you to the Gardens. There are 15 Gardens in the dream.
Permanent gardens can be bought for 1 GD or $1 US a month
If you idle in the dream, with the exception of inside your own house/apartment/garden, you will find yourself in this room. Idling in the roads or in places like the Items room will get you moved to the AFK room within seconds, automatically. Staff may also move you to the AFK room if you have been AFK at the desk for an extended period of time.
